Don’t Just Visit Thailand: Sail It
Explore vibrant villages, dramatic islands, and local flavors by yacht.
Thailand offers one of Asia’s most diverse yacht charter regions, with two distinct sailing areas and more than 1,400 islands spread between the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. From towering limestone cliffs to palm-lined beaches and coral-rich bays, the scenery shifts dramatically from one coastline to the next.
A Thailand yacht charter may take you through the Andaman Sea — exploring Phang Nga Bay, James Bond Island (Koh Tapu), the Phi Phi Islands, and the waters around Phuket and Krabi — or into the Gulf of Thailand, home to islands such as Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao. Both regions offer warm seas, short sailing distances, and excellent conditions for relaxed cruising.
Beyond the scenery, the Thailand coast offers authentic culture and cuisine. Anchor near traditional fishing villages, enjoy fresh seafood and southern Thai curries at small harborside restaurants, or time your trip to witness Loy Krathong, when candlelit floats and lanterns illuminate the bays. Sailing is one of the best ways to experience Thailand’s coastline beyond the crowds, connecting protected bays, island villages, and marine parks that are accessible by yacht.
Reasons to visit

Dramatic Limestone Scenery
Towering karsts, hidden lagoons, and sheltered bays in Phang Nga Bay and Krabi create unforgettable anchorages.

Culture & Thai Cuisine
Explore traditional fishing villages, savor harborside seafood, or time your trip for festivals like Loy Krathong to enjoy authentic Thai culture along the coast.

Marine Life & Snorkeling
Warm waters, vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish, turtles, and reef sharks await at the Phi Phi Islands and Similan archipelago.

Best time to visit
November – February: Peak sailing season for the Andaman Sea — dry warm weather, calm seas, and excellent visibility. Highest demand and pricing. For the Gulf of Thailand it is low season.
March – May: High temperatures, fewer yachts, and good value with generally favourable conditions for those who likes hot summers.
July – October: Monsoon season in the Andaman Sea with higher humidity and occasional storms. Quieter anchorages and lower pricing, but high probability to catch rainy days.
However the Gulf of Thailand is protected from he southwest monsoon, making it ideal when the rest of Thailand (Andaman side) gets wet. May - September are the best months for the Gulf of Thailand yacht charter.
