Day 1

Yacht Haven Marina, Phuket - Koh Nakha Yai or Koh Wa Yai

Sailing time:

1.5 hours

Your journey begins at Yacht Haven Marina in Phuket, where boarding takes place at 5:00 PM. After settling into your cabin, meet your professional crew for a short safety briefing and itinerary presentation.

Set sail toward Koh Nakha Yai or Koh Wa Yai, depending on weather conditions. A nice beach fringed with coconut trees will welcome your first and idyllic swim. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset over the islands of Phang Nga Bay.

Dinner and overnight on board at anchor.

Distance from the Airport

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is located approximately 7 miles from Yacht Haven Marina. The transfer takes around 15–20 minutes by car.

Pre-Cruise Suggestion

Arrive a day or two early to explore Phuket, Thailand’s largest island and a vibrant gateway to the Andaman Sea. Wander through the colorful streets of Old Phuket Town, where beautifully preserved Sino-Portuguese architecture reflects the island’s tin-mining heritage. Visit revered landmarks such as Wat Chalong and the iconic Big Buddha, which offers sweeping panoramic views over the island.

Phuket is also celebrated for its lively night markets and exceptional cuisine, where bold Thai flavors blend Chinese, Malay, and Indian influences.

If your visit coincides with one of Thailand’s vibrant festivals, your experience will be even more memorable. In November, Loy Krathong illuminates waterways with floating lanterns as locals give thanks to the water goddess, while Yi Peng, often celebrated simultaneously in northern Thailand, fills the skies with glowing lanterns. In October, the Phuket Vegetarian Festival showcases colorful processions and unique cultural traditions rooted in Chinese heritage.

It’s the perfect introduction to your unforgettable sailing adventure through the Andaman Sea.
