Your Itinerary

Day 1
Bo Phut Bay, Koh Samui – Koh Tean
Sailing time:
30 min
Your journey begins at Bo Phut Bay, where boarding takes place at 5:00 PM. After settling into your cabin, meet your crew and fellow guests, followed by a short safety briefing.
A short sail south brings you to Koh Tean, located off the quieter southern coast of Koh Samui. Popular for day visits yet peaceful in the evening, the island is covered in lush vegetation and mangrove forests, offering a relaxed setting for your first night on board.
There is time to swim, snorkel along the surrounding reef, or go ashore to explore mangrove trails and small caves scattered across the island. As dusk falls, you may witness thousands of large fruit bats taking flight—an impressive natural spectacle that has inspired local legends about the island.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor near Koh Tean.
Distance from the Airport
Samui International Airport (USM) is located approximately 3 miles from Bo Phut Bay. The transfer takes around 10-20 minutes by car.
Pre-Cruise Suggestion
Arrive a day early to explore Koh Samui, one of Thailand’s most popular island destinations. Visit the iconic Big Buddha Temple, discover local markets, or relax on beaches such as Chaweng and Bophut. For a more immersive experience, spend time at an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you can observe and interact with rescued elephants in a natural environment.
For a cultural touch, explore traditional fishing villages or enjoy a sunset dinner by the sea, sampling authentic Thai cuisine.

Day 2
Koh Phaluai – Ang Thong National Marine Park
Sailing time:
3 hours
After a morning swim on Koh Tean’s beach, sail toward Koh Phaluai, a large island located just south of Ang Thong National Marine Park and managed by park wardens. The island remains largely untouched, with its eastern coastline reserved for traditional bird’s nest collection, where anchoring is not permitted.
Stop along the sheltered northern coast, where a beautiful beach offers ideal conditions for swimming and relaxing. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by time for snorkeling, paddleboarding, or kayaking in calm, clear waters.
In the afternoon, continue into Ang Thong National Marine Park, a protected area known for its unspoiled islands and dramatic scenery. Anchor for the evening surrounded by this pristine natural environment.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor in Ang Thong National Marine Park.
Did You Know?
Ang Thong National Marine Park consists of over 40 islands, many of them uninhabited, featuring limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons, and rich marine ecosystems protected as part of Thailand’s conservation efforts.

Day 3
Ang Thong National Marine Park – Koh Sam Sao – Koh Thai Phlao – Koh Nai Put
Sailing time:
1 hour
Today, explore the northern islands of Ang Thong National Marine Park, sailing between Koh Sam Sao and Koh Thai Phlao.
At Koh Sam Sao, discover a unique natural stone arch large enough to pass beneath by dinghy. Nearby, small islets are often connected by a sandbar, offering opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on a secluded beach. A short trail ashore leads to a scenic viewpoint.
While sightings are not guaranteed, this area is known for occasional appearances of whale sharks and pods of dolphins.
Continue to Koh Thai Phlao and the surrounding cluster of islands, including Koh Nai Put. This sheltered area is ideal for exploring by kayak or paddleboard, with hidden lagoons (“hongs”) scattered throughout. One of the larger lagoons on the eastern side can be entered at mid-tide.
End the day at Koh Nai Put, a peaceful anchorage surrounded by untouched nature.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor near Koh Nai Put.

Day 4
Koh Tao
Sailing time:
4.5 hours
After lunch, set sail toward Koh Tao, a small granite island known for its crystal-clear waters and rich marine life.
Arrive at Mango Bay on the northern coast, your anchorage for the night. While the bay is active with dive and excursion boats during the day, it becomes calm and peaceful in the late afternoon and early morning, offering excellent snorkeling over healthy coral reefs.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor in Mango Bay.
Did You Know?
Koh Tao, meaning “Turtle Island,” was once an important nesting ground for sea turtles, which gave the island its name.

Day 5
Koh Tao (East Coast) – Shark Island
Sailing time:
1 hour
Spend the day exploring the eastern coast of Koh Tao, known for its beaches, coral reefs, and vibrant marine life. Enjoy time for swimming, snorkeling, or using the onboard paddleboards and kayaks in calm, clear waters.
In the afternoon, around 3:00 PM, sail toward Shark Island as dive boats and daytime traffic begin to leave the area. This sheltered anchorage offers crystal-clear waters and rich coral formations, ideal for evening swimming and relaxation.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor near Shark Island.
Did You Know?
Shark Island gets its name from its shape rather than its marine life, but the surrounding waters are known for excellent coral biodiversity and frequent sightings of reef fish and turtles.

Day 6
Koh Pha Ngan
Sailing time:
4 hours
Sail toward Koh Pha Ngan, an island known for its vibrant nightlife on the southeast coast but also for its quiet northern beaches.
Stop along the north coast to explore peaceful areas such as Ao Thong Nai Pan, known for its soft white sand and relaxed atmosphere.
Continue to Bottle Beach, your anchorage for the night. This secluded bay is accessible only by boat or hiking and is surrounded by coconut plantations and jungle. A few small resorts are scattered along the shore, creating a quiet and natural setting.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor in Bottle Beach.
Did You Know?
Koh Phangan is home to both lively party beaches and some of Thailand’s most remote and untouched coastal areas, offering a rare contrast within a single island.

Day 7
Koh Pha Ngan – Koh Samui (Chaweng Bay)
Sailing time:
2.5 hours
After a morning swim, sail to Haad Rin Rock in Koh Pha Ngan for lunch, one of the island’s most beautiful beaches.
In the afternoon, continue back toward Koh Samui and anchor at Ao Chaweng, a large open bay with multiple anchorage options. Chaweng is the most lively stop of the week, with a long stretch of shops, bars, and restaurants—ideal for shopping, exploring, or enjoying a final evening drink ashore.
Dinner and overnight on board at anchor in Chaweng Bay.

Day 8
Koh Samui (Disembarkation)
Sailing time:
1.5 hours
A short morning sail brings you back to Bo Phut Bay, Koh Samui. Disembarkation is scheduled for 9:00 AM, marking the end of your unforgettable Gulf of Thailand Sailing adventure.
