Discover the Best of the Bahamas in One Journey
Embark on an unforgettable island-hopping adventure through the Exumas, one of the most breathtaking island chains in the Caribbean.
Sail from Nassau aboard a comfortable crewed catamaran and discover hidden cays, pristine beaches, protected marine parks, vibrant coral reefs and world-famous wildlife encounters. Swim with the famous pigs at Big Major Cay, snorkel the legendary Thunderball Grotto, kayak through the mangroves of Shroud Cay, meet friendly nurse sharks at Compass Cay and explore some of the clearest waters on Earth.
Why Travelers Love
Cabin Charters
Most Bahamas vacations focus on a single resort or island. Travelers who want to experience the Exumas often spend hundreds of dollars on day tours from Nassau and still only visit a small portion of the archipelago. A cabin yacht charter offers a more rewarding way to explore — sailing between islands aboard a comfortable catamaran while discovering the highlights of the Exumas in one seamless journey. Instead of spending your vacation commuting to excursions, your accommodation travels with you.

5.5 hours
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic sail from Nassau into the heart of the Exumas, a stunning chain of more than 360 cays and islands known for their crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches.
Arrive at Highbourne Cay, the northern gateway to the Exuma Cays. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the soft white-sand beach. The island's turquoise waters and peaceful surroundings offer the perfect introduction to the natural beauty of the Bahamas.

Established in 1958, the park spans more than 176 square miles and is famous for its exceptionally clear waters, thriving marine life, and conservation efforts that help preserve the natural beauty of the Exumas for future generations.

Day 3
Highbourne Cay – Shroud Cay
Sailing time:
2 hours
This morning, sail south to Shroud Cay, one of the most beautiful and untouched islands within the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park.
Explore the island’s winding mangrove waterways on a guided dinghy excursion, navigating through a maze of creeks surrounded by pristine wilderness. Along the way, keep an eye out for rays, turtles, juvenile sharks, and a variety of birdlife that thrive in this protected ecosystem.
Later, enjoy time to swim in the famous Shroud Cay "Washing Machine", a natural lagoon where tidal currents create a unique and exhilarating water experience. Alternatively, relax on the island’s stunning white-sand beach, paddleboard along the shoreline, or simply soak up the peaceful surroundings.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in Shroud Cay.
Did You Know?
Shroud Cay is entirely uninhabited and forms part of the protected Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. Its intricate network of mangrove channels acts as an important nursery for countless marine species, helping sustain the rich biodiversity of the Bahamas.

Day 4
Shroud Cay – Staniel Cay
Sailing time:
4 hours
Set sail early this morning towards Staniel Cay, one of the most iconic destinations in the Exumas.
Your first stop is Big Major Cay, better known as Pig Beach, where you’ll have the chance to meet the Bahamas' famous swimming pigs. Enjoy time on the beach and in the crystal-clear waters before continuing to one of the Exumas' most celebrated natural attractions.
Next, snorkel at the legendary Thunderball Grotto, a spectacular underwater cave made famous by the James Bond film Thunderball. Beneath the limestone opening, sunlight streams through natural skylights, illuminating schools of colorful tropical fish and creating an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Entry to the cave is dependent on slack tide conditions, so the order of activities may vary.
In the afternoon, continue to Staniel Cay, where you'll moor for the night. Take time to explore this charming island settlement, known for its laid-back Bahamian atmosphere, colorful cottages, and welcoming local community.
After dinner, you may wish to enjoy a drink at the renowned Staniel Cay Yacht Club, a favorite gathering place for sailors and visitors from around the world.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in Staniel Cay.
Did You Know?
Thunderball Grotto gained international fame after appearing in several Hollywood films, including the James Bond classic Thunderball and the movie Splash. The cave is home to vibrant tropical fish and can only be entered safely during periods of slack tide, making timing an important part of the experience.

Day 5
Staniel Cay – Compass Cay – Cambridge Cay
Sailing time:
3 hours
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Rachel’s Bubble Bath, a natural ocean pool where waves surge through gaps in the rocks, creating a bubbling jacuzzi-like effect. The experience is at its best under specific tidal conditions, making each visit unique.
Later, sail to Compass Cay, famous for its crystal-clear waters and resident population of friendly nurse sharks. Guests can choose to swim alongside these gentle creatures, relax on the beach, or enjoy the island’s laid-back atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
In the afternoon, continue with a short sail to Cambridge Cay, one of the most picturesque anchorages in the central Exumas. Surrounded by turquoise waters and unspoiled nature, it offers a peaceful setting to unwind and enjoy another spectacular Bahamian sunset.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in Cambridge Cay.
Did You Know?
Despite their impressive size, nurse sharks are among the most docile shark species in the world. Compass Cay is one of the few places where visitors can safely enter the water and observe these fascinating animals up close in their natural environment.

Day 6
Cambridge Cay – Warderick Wells Cay – Norman’s Cay
Sailing time:
4 hours
This morning, head to O’Brien’s Cay, home to one of the Exumas' most celebrated snorkeling sites, appropriately known as The Aquarium. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, vibrant tropical fish, and healthy coral formations, it offers some of the best underwater exploration in the Bahamas. Nearby, a beautiful sandbank emerges from the turquoise sea, creating a picture-perfect setting for swimming and relaxation.
After lunch, sail to Warderick Wells Cay, the headquarters of the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. Take a walk to the summit of Boo Boo Hill, where panoramic views stretch across countless cays and the deep blue waters of the Exumas. Along the trail, you'll also encounter fascinating blowholes carved into the limestone landscape by centuries of wave action.
Later in the afternoon, continue to Norman’s Cay, a legendary island with a colorful past. Here, you can swim above the remains of a Pablo Escobar's sunken aircraft resting in shallow, crystal-clear water—a relic from the island's role in Caribbean smuggling operations during the 1970s and 1980s.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in Norman’s Cay.
Did You Know?
The wreck near Norman’s Cay is believed to be one of the most photographed underwater sites in the Bahamas. Resting in only a few meters of water, the aircraft is easily visible from the surface and serves as a reminder of the island’s intriguing history as a former drug-smuggling hub.

Day 7
Norman’s Cay – Allen’s Cay – Palm Cay, Nassau
Sailing time:
7 hours
Set sail early this morning for Allen’s Cay, home to one of the Bahamas’ most distinctive residents—the Northern Bahamian Rock Iguana. Found only in a few locations across the Exumas, these fascinating reptiles can often be seen basking in the sun along the shoreline, offering a memorable final wildlife encounter before the return journey.
After your visit, begin the sail back towards Nassau, enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Exuma Cays one last time. Relax on deck, take in the ocean views, and reflect on a week of island hopping through some of the most beautiful waters in the Caribbean.
Arrive back at Palm Cay Marina in the late afternoon. Enjoy a farewell dinner on board with your fellow guests and crew.
